Aublé Marie
<%= " " & prenom_artiste & " " & nom_artiste%>
Marie Aublé Floury was born on October 29th 1984 in Rouen. Because of her childhood spent in Normandy, she is fascinated by light , impressionist painters, and nature (and especially green colour)
She has never got away from nature because she has spent her adolescence right in the heart of mysterious Double forest (in Perigord). These places have definitely influenced her choices, and her interest in painting was reinforced when she attended the lessons of Christian Lippens, a painter and a drawer.
At the age of 16, after having passed a scientific baccalauréat, she decided to spend all her time on her passion and went to the Art University of Bordeaux where she passed an Art degree and CAPES (secondary school teaching qualification).
Since 2005, “detail”, and most particularly natural detail, has drawn her attention. Two lines, a space: she wants to transcend it through colours and the very matter of her painting (sometimes smooth, icy, and from time to time viscous and nauseating). She has extended her research from natural detail to “bits of details” which often look unimportant and are directly taken from the real like micro reports about the recesses of everyday life. The details cross then mix and culminate in more narrative pictures letting appear more or less identifiable patterns.
It seems important to notice that she insists upon the feminine and at times, feminist nature of her painting, as well as the “amusement art” aspect, sometimes at the edge of kitsch.
She finds inspiration in nature but also in others forms of creations_ (such as literature, music, cinema…) from German romanticism to Tarentino’s films or artists like Gilbert and Georges(with their famous “art for all”) or Fluxus.
